The 2015 Michigan Residential Code (MRC) is the state-specific adaptation of the 2015 International Residential Code (IRC), published by the International Code Council (ICC), tailored to regulate residential construction in Michigan. Manual J 8th Edition Version 2.50 is the national ANSI-recognized standard for producing HVAC equipment sizing loads for single-family detached homes, small multi-unit structures, condominiums, town houses, and manufactured homes.
