Stephen L. Herman is a retired electrician and seasoned educator with over 30 years of practical experience in the electrical field. He is renowned for his clear and accessible teaching style, which has made his textbooks widely adopted in both academic and professional settings. For two decades, Mr. Herman served as the lead instructor for the Electrical Technology Curriculum at Lee College in Baytown, Texas, where he was honored with an Excellence in Education Award from the Halliburton Education Foundation. He also taught at Randolph Community College in Asheboro, North Carolina, for nine years and contributed to developing an electrical curriculum at Northeast Texas Community College in Mount Pleasant, Texas.
