2020 Minnesota Residential Code

• The 2020 Minnesota Residential Code (MNRC), effective March 31, 2020, establishes minimum construction standards for one- and two-family dwellings and townhouses up to three stories in height. It is based on the 2018 International Residential Code (IRC) with state-specific amendments to address Minnesota’s unique conditions and needs.
