The 2009 International Energy Conservation Code (IECC) provides minimum standards for energy-efficient design and construction in both residential and commercial buildings. Developed by the International Code Council (ICC), the 2009 IECC aims to reduce energy consumption, improve building performance, and decrease environmental impacts.
